Shopping comparison app
Search once. Compare everywhere.
ThriftTick helps people compare prices across stores, build shared shopping lists, and track price drops without juggling multiple apps. Search by name, barcode, or photo, then move straight from live offers into lists and alerts.
Core story
ThriftTick treats shopping as a comparison problem, not a single-store habit.
The strongest product story in the handoff pack is simple: search once, compare across selected stores, save useful items into a shared list, and track price drops later.
Start from the home screen
The first screen already shows search actions, selected stores, saved lists, and tracked alerts so the app feels useful immediately.
Narrow the comparison space before you search
Store filtering supports both country of origin and store type, so users can keep only the stores that matter for this trip.
Compare live offers across selected stores
Search results surface best-price context, store cards, alert creation, and add-to-list actions directly on real offer rows.
Shared planning
Lists are part of the comparison flow, not a separate isolated tool.
The website handoff emphasizes a practical grocery story with realistic examples like Weekend Grill and Weekly Groceries, because that makes the value easy to grasp fast.
Shared access
Owners, members, and pending invites are visible in one place.
The latest app update cleaned up shared-list access. Members now open a dedicated dialog, and owners can manage joined people and pending invites from the same screen.
- Dedicated shared-access dialog
- Joined members and pending invites together
- Remove or revoke directly from the dialog
- Send invite remains a quick separate action
Price tracking
Price alerts are created from real store offers, not vague guesses.
In the current release story, a person searches for a real offer, taps the alert bell, sets a threshold price, and immediately sees a live alert card with current and target pricing.
Latest app update
Website copy and release messaging now match the beta-ready app handoff.
Current build reference
Main branch handoff from 2026-03-13, commit 93a4f2ba, release 0.2.93a4f2ba-beta.
What changed visually
The screenshot pack remains the current 2026-03-12 capture set. This release does not change the visuals, so the live screenshots still accurately represent the app flow.
What changed functionally
This release adds daily grocery prefetch warmup, admin cache inspection endpoints, grouped Swagger docs, and CI stabilization so the new admin surfaces are easier to test and ship reliably.
